		<description>Thanks for the question Jeff.  Shear for shape and density until the 5 foot height and don't worry about v's they give you the qualities you want. Then you can lighten up on shearing and you will get a lot more straight branches. An uncut branch will go straight if you cut it, it will v or go straight depending on how deep the cut is.</description>

		<description>What technique do you use when shearing the Fraser Fir.  Is there a certain way or do you just shear to keep its shape?  I seem to always have the split "v" at the ends and not a single side branch coming straight out.  Thanks for any help possible.
