We all know the story of fuel prices.  The good new is that the price for a barrel of oil has gone down 20% in the last month and we heard a commentator say that once prices start going down like this that they will usually continue to go down for a year, let’s hope.

Currently the quotes we are getting are between $3.00 and 3.25 per mile.  You can go to mapquest and figure out the milage from Boone, N.C.  28607.  Often times this works out depending where you are to $2.00-3.50 per tree.   We hope that this will go down significantly by the time we start to ship trees.

We also do split loads almost everywhere on the east coast, Texas and west to Memphis.  If you are looking for 200 trees and can not fill up a truck most likely we have other customers that can come close to filling up a truck and maximizing the efficiency in decreasing your shipping costs.
