Associations and Endorsements
Because of our participation with other Christmas tree growers around the nation to promote Fraser Fir Christmas trees, Cool Springs Nursery is a member of many like-minded associations around the country. This is extremely important because consumers are increasingly buying fake or “artificial” trees for Christmas. Cool Springs Nursery works alongside of these associations to produce friendly and better products (handles, clean, good grade and good height) so the consumer will be attracted to real Fraser Fir Christmas Trees.
These associations also are working to get the word out that if you are environmentally sensitive and aware, then you should want to buy real trees because they are fantastic for the environment. Each tree planted by Cool Springs Nursery has been working 24/7 for eight plus years cleaning up the environment, stopping erosion, fighting pollution and producing oxygen. How many fake trees can do this? We have got to get the word out that consumers are not just buying a Christmas tree; they are supporting an industry that plants over 30 million trees each year each of which benefit the environment for almost ten years before it is cut. This adds up to over 300 million trees, one for each person in the United States that would not have been planted if consumers did not buy live Christmas trees. Fake trees are trying to put an end to this great situation and in many ways we are at war with them.
This endeavor is supported by Cool Springs Nursery and the following associations:
